Alberta Family Histories Society at Fort Calgary
What Fun! Heritage Day in Calgary means lots of activities including discovering how to do a family tree.
Several AFHS volunteers were on hand to help kids fill out a family tree activity sheet as part of the festitivies.
Thank you to all of the Volunteers who helped out!
The morning shift was Don Alexander, Mertie Beatty and Rosemary Kry. The afternoon was Heather Jaremko, Joan Miller and Laura Kirbyson. Bill Campbell looked after set up and take down.

Looks like too much fun! I can’t wait to meet all the AFHS folks when I am there in October!
Pix and stories like these make me miss my teaching days. The students taught me as much as I taught them.
Thomas,
We are looking forward to having you visit us in October!

Hi Denise,
Our ‘students’ really got into the activities. They were accompanied by parents and grandparents who had lots of family tree info to share with them. The afternoon was great fun
