DESCRIPTION:The Digital Genealogy / Family Genes Special Interest Group has two areas of focus: \n\nAll things digital that can be used for genealogy research\nThe Family Genes service offered by our Society\n\nThe Digital Genealogy / Family Genes Special Interest Group meets the second Saturday of each month (except July and August) at 10 am. Meetings are usually held via Zoom. \nThe topic for this meeting is Storytelling and Preserving. Your ancestors have stories to tell you\, so we will discuss how to “listen to your ancestors” and then capture the stories in digital format. \nOur special interest groups are a member benefit\, but we welcome visitors! If the meeting is being held at the library and you live in the Calgary area\, please just come and introduce yourself.
