Just like an old-fashioned kitchen gathering, some of us would enjoy sitting down with our fellow family study members to just chew the rag and share some stories. The break time at our Society meetings is enjoyed by all, but is all too brief. We are going to test out a separate evening Zoom meeting, hopefully monthly, for those interested in sharing an hour or two of casual conversation.
Linda Murray and I will be co-hosting for you, making sure everyone gets into the meeting and has a chance to share stories and advice with the group.
The format will be very casual, with no fixed agenda. Bring your family tree, bring your stories and brags, bring your family photo album and have your favourite brew nearby. The best brags can be repeated at the next Society meeting. Also, bring a guest if you want, be it a cousin, a neighbour or a co-worker.
When? The third Monday of the month – January 16, March 20, April 17 and May 15 (no session in February due to Family Day). The session will start at 7 pm and run until around 8:30.
