Hands-On Irish Research, presented by AFHS member Ron Gilmore, will follow our AGM (Presentation of our Annual Report, Audited Financial Statements, and election of Directors)

In addition, there is information on former National School system, Church of Ireland records, the Orange Order and Irish maritime records. Sample records are shown for births, deaths, marriages, wills, burials, baptisms, church vestry records and a school superintendent’s audit comments.
The presentation includes sample records (St, Mary’s Church of Ireland in Drumbanagher, County Down) and tips on investigating, travel, currency, customs and touring (for example, Trinity College and the Book of Kells, Enniskillen Castle and three others, allergy management, car rentals, etc.). A subset of the 900 photos taken on the trip are imbedded throughout.
