Description: Our federal government and all of the provincial governments maintain transcripts of the various speeches, questions, etc. that take place in the various legislative assemblies. These records are of fascinating interest to some folks – looking for famous ancestors, infamous ancestors, major events, major scandals, interesting quotations, etc. Some records go back a long ways while others (e.g., Nunavit) are only of recent vintage. Some are searchable while others require you to know the exact date in advance. Some are still paper only.
