Genealogy 101 – 3-Part Workshop
March 30, 2025 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm MDT
Alberta Family Histories Society is pleased to offer their popular Genealogy 101 Workshop again this year.
Want to get started on family history? Don’t know where to start? This three-part Genealogy 101 workshop will give you tips and inspire you to build your family tree.
- Sunday, March 2 and Sunday, March 16 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm – The first two parts will be mainly instructional (with an activity and a bit of homework). These two sessions will be held via hybrid Zoom meetings from the AFHS Library (712 16 Ave NW in Calgary).
- Sunday, March 30 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm – The third part will be mostly hands-on using resources at the AFHS Library with the assistance of AFHS volunteers. It will not be held via Zoom.
As each session builds on the prior ones, attendees should plan to attend all three sessions.
Spaces are limited! Free for AFHS members. $50 for non-members (price of a membership).
To register for the Genealogy 101 Workshop, please send an email to communications@afhs.ab.ca by March 1.
