English/Welsh Special Interest Group
October 19 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT
The English/Welsh Special Interest Group is for those researching in England or Wales. If you are doing genealogy research in either of these areas, come join us! Our members have a wealth of information to share.
The English/Welsh Special Interest Group meets on the third Saturday of each month (except July and August) at 10 am.
Meetings are sometimes hybrid from the AFHS Library at 712 16 Avenue NW in Calgary and sometimes only via Zoom.
Topic for this meeting: A Brick Wall Case Study presented by Kelly Southworth. This will be an interactive presentation based on a mysterious family document. Members will receive the document ahead of time, if they want to read it, but this is not required for participation.
Our special interest groups are a member benefit, but we welcome visitors! If the meeting is being held at the library and you live in Calgary and area, please just come to the library and introduce yourself. If you would like to attend a Zoom session as a guest, please email communications@afhs.ab.ca to receive the Zoom invitation.
