The Digital Genealogy / Family Genes Special Interest Group has two areas of focus:
- All things digital that can be used for genealogy research
- The Family Genes service offered by our Society
The Digital Genealogy / Family Genes Special Interest Group meets the second Saturday of each month (except July and August) at 10 am. Meetings are held via Zoom or hybrid from the AFHS Library at 712 16 Ave NW in Calgary.
The topic for this Digital Genealogy Special Interest Group meeting is: To be determined.
Our special interest groups are a member benefit, but we welcome visitors! If the meeting is being held at the library and you live in the Calgary area, please just come to the library and introduce yourself. If you would like to attend a Zoom session as a guest, please email communications@afhs.ab.ca.
