Topic: Our WW1 & WW2 Ancestors.

Look at your WW1 or 2 family members and choose one to highlight during our meeting. Many of the recent English fellows who had come to Canada went back to fight in WW1. Many did not return. By looking in early newspapers we can sometimes find interesting articles about the fallen soldier and his earlier years here.

The Calgary Herald is particularly good at this.

This Special Interest Group is for those researching in England or Wales.

Depending on the weather, meetings may be either by Zoom or hybrid from the AFHS Library.
