We’re starting a new special interest group! Led by Kelly Southworth, the Writing Special Interest Group will help you record the stories of your family research. It will meet via Zoom on the second Friday of each month beginning at 9:30 am.

The first meeting on Friday, September 13 will begin with some organizing discussions to plan out the year. The following is not a compulsory exercise, but if you would like to, you may use this writing prompt (chosen because it is Friday the 13th) to create a piece for sharing:

Write no more than 500 words (approximately 1 typewritten page), beginning with the following:  “In our family, bad luck …”
