Society Meetings

Throughout the past 25 or so years, I have enjoyed the monthly presentations! There are so many talented presenters in our midst, and every month brought some kernels of wisdom I could use in my own research.

Join us for an evening of genealogy learning and sharing at our Society meetings!

From September to June, usually on the second Monday of the month, we hold our Society meetings. Most of our meetings are hybrid Zoom meetings, held at our Resource Centre (Suite 251S, 8500 Macleod Trail SE) with the option to attend via Zoom.

On the Saturday before each Society meeting, sent information via an email Windsock message. It will include the Zoom registration link, which can also be found on our website calendar

We welcome visitors, so if you are not a member and live in Calgary, we’d love to have you attend at our meeting place. If you would like to be our guest via Zoom, please register via the link on our website calendar.

At 7:00 pm, we begin with a brief business meeting. We always include a time to ask questions or share our recent discoveries or projects. This is followed by a program of genealogical interest.

For upcoming monthly meeting dates and topics, see our calendar or events page.

Our Programs Committee is always looking for ideas. If you have a suggestion, please speak to us at a meeting or send it to
