AFHS Society Meeting
February 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm MST
The AFHS Society Meeting is our regular meeting for all members, usually held on the second Monday of each month from September to June. Guests are welcome to attend!
Topic for this meeting: British Home Children. Between 1869 and 1948, over 100,00 children were sent to Canada from Great Britain as indentured farm labourers and domestic servants. Several settled as far west as Saskatchewan. Over 10% of all Canadians are thought to be descendants of the British Home Children.
This meeting will be held via Zoom only. To register for this AFHS Society Meeting and receive the Zoom invitation, please click here.
At the request of the presenter, this meeting will not be recorded.
